Strategies and opportunities in the geopolitical field of tension: Rödl & Partner hosts the 26th Forum Global on July 3, 2025 in Nuremberg
Nuremberg, June 2, 2025 – The international consulting and auditing firm Rödl & Partner is hosting the 26th Forum Global on July 3, 2025, in Nuremberg. The Forum Global offers engaging presentations and panel discussions that explore complex topics from the fields of law, tax, business process outsourcing, management and IT consulting, and auditing.
Amid ongoing geopolitical and economic developments, companies are required to think strategically and act decisively. This makes open dialogue at eye level about opportunities, risks, and forward-looking solutions all the more important. As one of the largest foreign trade events in Germany, Forum Global provides decision-makers from internationally operating companies with a valuable opportunity to gain comprehensive insights into the many opportunities and challenges present in markets around the world.
Journalist, author, and founder of The Pioneer, Gabor Steingart, will deliver the keynote address together with Prof. Dr. Christian Rödl, Chairman of the Management Board of Rödl & Partner, to kick off the event. Under the title “The Jungle is Back – Navigating a Geopolitical Landscape Under Tension and in Motion,” they will set the tone for the day.
The program will address a wide range of global economic issues. Among other topics, it will examine U.S. trade policy under the new Trump administration, including its implications for European companies and possible adaptation strategies. It will also explore the key success factors for German companies in the Chinese market and in developing sales structures in Southeast Asia, with particular attention to Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia. Additional panel discussions will focus on tax developments such as e-invoicing in Europe, transfer pricing, and regulatory conditions in Turkey; on joint ventures and M&A opportunities in India; on the Mercosur trade bloc with a focus on Brazil; and on digitization and cloud computing in Europe. The agenda will also address dual-use goods in industrial sectors, as well as ESG and CSR reporting requirements and opportunities presented by the EU’s Omnibus Directive on sustainability disclosures.
Prof. Dr. Christian Rödl emphasizes that the ongoing geopolitical shifts underline the fact that economic growth and prosperity can only be achieved through global cooperation. He stresses that Europe must maintain a strong competitive position amid the tensions between major global powers in America and Asia, and must define and balance its political course with foresight and independence. Forum Global offers guests the opportunity to engage directly with Rödl & Partner professionals from 50 countries and to exchange views on topics of their choice through an extensive and customized program, developed based on feedback from hundreds of clients and stakeholders.
