In the case of entrepreneurial direct investments, co-investments can be a very attractive addition to an investment portfolio. This provides lead investors with additional capital and enables them to optimise their risk position. Co-investors gain access to interesting investments, benefit from the lead investors' expertise and contribute their own experience. The management and investee companies also benefit from a clear governance structure. What needs to be considered in order to successfully implement co-investments in the long term?
