The change of the generation at FOSTER Forschungsinstitut für Family Offices GmbH: Michael Staab hands over to Guido Hansmeyer after 17 years.
Frankfurt am Main, 22.07.2025 - Guido Hansmeyer becomes Managing Partner at FOSTER Institute; Michael Staab moves to the Advisory Board in 2027
After 17 years, during which the FOSTER Institute has developed into an international network for family offices and entrepreneurial families, Michael Staab (63) has initiated his succession: Guido Hansmeyer (54), who has already been on board as second Managing Director since January 1, 2025, is successively taking over all shares in FOSTER Forschungsinstitut für Family Offices GmbH.
Hansmeyer, who has extensive experience in all asset classes, has held positions at BHW Invest, Joh. Berenberg, Gossler & Co. KG, Invesco Asset Management, Bank of Montreal Global Asset Management and BNY Mellon Asset Management, Hansmeyer was most recently responsible for the market entry and business development of NIO Partners A/S from Copenhagen in Germany and Austria.
Michael Staab will join the advisory board of the institute in 2027 and will focus in parallel on advising entrepreneurial families and syndication of club deals.
